Independent affiliate site, not run by fomo. Crypto trading is high-risk and you can lose everything you put in. This is information, not financial advice. How I earn money.
The two sides of a referral
| New user (you, if you use a code) | Referrer (whoever owns the code) | |
|---|---|---|
| Benefit | 10% off trading fees: 0.50% becomes 0.45% per trade, applied automatically. | 25% of the trading fees generated by the people who sign up with their link. |
| When | From sign-up, on every trade. | Solana: not on the referred user’s first buy, every trade after. EVM chains (Base, BNB Chain, Monad): every trade. |
| How paid | Lower fee shown before you confirm. | Into the cash balance automatically. Solana earnings pay inside the referral’s trade; EVM earnings build up and pay in batches, usually once or twice a day. |

Why this site has a financial interest
I’m the referrer on this site. When someone signs up with my code and trades, I earn a share of the fees they generate. That means I benefit when you trade, which is a conflict of interest and the reason every call-to-action on this site is labelled. Nobody should trade more than they otherwise would because a code exists. See the affiliate disclosure.
Rules from fomo’s Terms
Section 8 of fomo’s Terms of Service sets these rules, in summary:
- No self-referral. You can’t refer yourself, refer accounts you own or control, create multiple accounts to get referral benefits, or coordinate with others to artificially generate rewards.
- fomo decides. Payouts are calculated and paid at fomo’s sole discretion. fomo can void, reverse or claw back rewards it believes were obtained through manipulation, and may suspend accounts.
- It can change. The programme can be modified or cancelled at any time, with or without notice.
The Terms were dated 17 August 2026 when I checked on 30 September 2026. Read the live version before relying on any detail.
Referral programme vs. affiliate programme
Every fomo user gets the standard referral link automatically. Separately, fomo runs an affiliate and creator programme for publishers and creators. You apply at fomo.family/affiliates. fomo says approved affiliates get a dashboard, creative assets, a dedicated affiliate manager, and bonus tiers with higher rates (source). The tier percentages aren’t published, so I don’t quote any.
If you run a site or channel, applying through the official programme is the cleanest way to promote fomo.
Choosing a username (and therefore a code)
Because a code is just a username, a good one is short, easy to say aloud and easy to type without mistakes. General tips:
- Keep it short and readable. Avoid look-alike characters (0/O, 1/l/I) and long strings.
- Don’t imply a bigger benefit. Names like “100off” or “freemoney” mislead people. The only documented benefit is a 10% fee discount.
- Don’t impersonate. fomo’s Terms let it reclaim or rename usernames for impersonation and prohibit impersonating fomo or its staff, so avoid names that sound official.
- You don’t own it. Usernames are licensed to you, can be reclaimed for inactivity or breaches, and can’t be sold or transferred (Terms §5).
I couldn’t find official documentation on username length or character rules, so check what the app accepts.
Where to find your own code
Open the app, go to your profile, tap the gift icon, and copy your code. Your link is fomo.family/r/ followed by your username (source).
Want to use the code? Copy the code first, then open fomo’s own sign-up page.
